Dr. James Schlenker

Dr. Schlenker has been in plastic surgery practice since 1979 and is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He received his undergraduate degree from Harvard University and his medical degree from Harvard Medical School. He served a residency in general surgery at the University Hospital of Cleveland and a plastic surgery residency at Vanderbilt University Hospital.
In addition to his private aesthetic practice, he is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Surgery, Section of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Illinois, Chicago. He is a member of the Chicago Society of Plastic Surgeons and many regional and national medical societies including the Midwest Association of Plastic Surgeons, the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons, and the American Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons.
